Niresha joined rhw Solicitors in January 2020, having qualified as a solicitor in August 2019 at a law firm in South London, practising family law, immigration, conveyancing and probate. From an early stage of her legal career, Niresha displayed a keen passion and interest for family and children related matters and began specialising in this field.

Niresha practices all areas of family law including nuptials, divorce and financial settlements; cohabitation, separation and children matters. Niresha’s friendly and positive attitude coupled with her genuine interest in assisting clients achieve their goals, allow her to assist clients in areas of law that often pose difficult and trying periods in one’s life.

Niresha particularly enjoys advising couples to settle matters amicably and without court intervention where possible as she is driven by encouraging couples to reach resolutions without the need for excessive costs. Additionally, she has a genuine passion for children matters, as she is a strong believer that children’s wishes, and best interests should be safeguarded indefinitely, as children are tomorrow’s future.

A dedicated individual to her profession, Niresha advises clients on a range of family matters at legal clinics and the Citizens Advice Bureau within Surrey. She also actively engages in pro-bono legal work and works closely with charities such as Amnesty International, Crisis and Mind. Internationally, Niresha has interned with the Women’s Legal Centre in South Africa, advising women on international women rights law, domestic violence and children protection matters.

In her spare time, you can be sure to find Niresha out and about checking out the latest foodie hotspots; planning her next trip-on-pivot getaway, or as an animal lover, she could even be found engaging her skills as a self-proclaimed animal whisperer, spending quality time with her beloved rabbits.
