Samantha Jago is one of the Managing Partners of rhw solicitors as well as being a well-regarded and experienced family lawyer. She is a Legal 500 2018/19 recommended lawyer, with the publication commenting that she stands out for, “being able to reach a commercial and sensible compromise”.
She joined rhw solicitors in April 2008 from another established Surrey firm to set up rhw’s Family Department, which has grown to five lawyers and is referred to, in the Legal 500 2018/19, as being a “highly respected local firm” that has a “pragmatic” approach and is “knowledgeable without being aggressive”.
Samantha has a firm but fair approach to family law matters. She works to manage client’s expectations so that there are no nasty shocks in the process. She is very client focused and works with her clients to secure the best possible outcome for them. She is known to be assertive when she needs to be but recognises the need for a proportionate and pragmatic approach. Her work is mainly from client and professional referrals, being testament to her abilities as a family lawyer.
Samantha has a wide range of experience in all family matters to include (but not limited to): divorce, cross jurisdictional issues, cohabitation matters, children matters, injunctions (domestic abuse and financial), prenuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and resolving financial matters arising from the breakdown of a relationship.
