Winnie is a Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team at rhw having joined the firm in May 2022 upon qualifying as a solicitor.

Winnie is an enthusiastic civil practitioner who recently qualified dealing with Regulation (EC) 261/2004 claims on behalf of airline clients (involving denied boarding, delayed, or cancelled flights), including matters involving the Montreal Convention and consumer laws. She also has experience dealing with settlement agreements, commercial and employment contracts. Winnie is solution driven and strategically works in her client’s best interest, liaising with relevant parties and progresses claims in the County Court.

Winnie trained in London, where she gained valuable hands-on experience providing cost-effective legal services handling passenger rights claims and contract disputes. She is also able to deal with any Jurisdiction issues, or claim forms served in Ireland and/or Scotland working with relevant practitioners in these areas while maintaining excellent quality.

Winnie’s resilience and conspicuous commitment for achieving positive results for her client is very much evident, especially during the pandemic where she worked hard to not only understand her client’s objectives but achieved the best results for them. She is trustworthy and highly competent in providing an adaptable and responsive legal service.

Winnie works collaboratively and uses her direct, meticulous, practical, and tactical approach to work as evidenced through the cases she has successfully defended on behalf of clients, and cases where she negotiated and saved money for clients by applying thorough and tactical negotiation skills.

She possesses strong client service focus through all her work experiences, and always aims to achieve the right outcomes for clients. She is an excellent litigator, frequently praised by clients for her conscientiousness and efficiency.

Outside of work Winnie enjoys keeping fit 4 times a week, spending time with her family and boyfriend. She also participates in various activities, run, walks to raise money for charities and recently participated in a squats challenge for Refuge charity on her birthday. She also volunteers at Toynbee hall pro bono legal advice clinic.
