Jack is a solicitor in our commercial property department.
He attended George Abbot School in Guildford before studying history at Durham University. After achieving a 2:1 in his degree, he then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford, obtaining a distinction in both.
Jack joined rhw in October 2013, initially as a paralegal before undertaking a training contract during which he completed seats in the family, commercial property, private client and corporate departments. Jack was admitted as a solicitor in January 2018.
Jack works alongside Brian Shacklady in the commercial property team where he advises on commercial property-related transactions including lettings, freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, developments, funding and security. He also deals with the property aspects of corporate transactions such as asset sales and share sales.
Jack is popular with clients for his friendly and approachable demeanour and his practical advice.
Jack’s main interests outside of work are exercising, eating and watching sports (usually in that order). A huge sports fan, Jack has a particular passion for football, golf, tennis and F1.
